Asset library
Realistic people, motion capture and skies that any GameMog world can use. Every file is built from a licensed source, listed here with its author and licence, and checked against its SHA-256 each time a game loads it. A world names what it needs in assets; nothing else can be loaded.
Athlete (male)
A realistic male athlete: MakeHuman body shaped for sprinting, 4 skin tones, 3 hairstyles, eyes, eyebrows and eyelashes, a paintable kit (singlet, shorts and spikes), five body morphs and a 66-bone rig with motion-captured run, sprint, idle, standing start and fall, and sword motion: a guard, three cuts, a lunge, a hit and a death.
Body shaped with MakeHuman targets; rig reduced from 163 to 66 bones; running motion retargeted from CMU captures (the sprint clip amplifies the captured run); the street fight (a boxer's guard and footwork, jab, cross, hook) and street life (casual, cool, heavyset and women's walks, walking backwards, a jog, shifting weight, arguing, a shrug, a wave) retargeted from CMU captures; sword motion, hits, a roll, getting up, a phone call, folded arms, talking, dancing, sitting and picking something up retargeted from Quaternius's Universal Animation Library; freeflow punches, a kick, a rising uppercut, a leaping kick, a back flip, a side flip, a launcher, air blows, a slam and a finisher retargeted from Spiderbench's hero rig (the clips only).

What the city map builds its streets and blocks from.
Recompressed for the web (colour to WebP, the layer atlases to JPEG, normals to 1024 px). The shop-sign atlas is GameMog’s own, drawn in the original’s layout with invented names. On the vehicle atlas the three taxi-topper ads, the taxi badge and the bus names are repainted with GameMog’s own. Car and people geometry rounded to well under a millimetre and gzipped.

Winter square at night
A small town square on a snowy, overcast night: warm street lamps and festive lights, snow on the ground, houses all round (1024 x 512, full dynamic range). It has land and lamps in it, so it is a light for graphics.environment.hdri (warm lamplight in glass, metal and snow), shown behind a sky of its own; its brightest pixel is a lamp, not a sun.
Halved from 2048 x 1024: each 2 x 2 block averaged in linear light and encoded again as RGBE.
Built from
- Blaubeuren Church Square (HDRI), Andreas Mischok, Poly Haven. Licence: CC0 1.0 (public domain dedication)

An atlas of three conifer branch sprays on green, with colour, normal and an opacity (alpha) map, 1024 px, for alpha-tested branch cards on firs and spruces. Not a tiling surface: asset.json lists each spray's uv rectangle as cards (cut stem at the right), and the size (1) is nominal; the publisher gives no scale.

Party moves (male)
What a world adds to the male human by listing it: 13 more clips: four dances (the Twist, the Cabbage Patch, the lambada, the Macarena), a drunk's idle, walk and drink, a cheer, a toast, a smash over the head, leaning on a bar, talking seated, and an overhead punch down onto a man on the ground (the punch finisher's).
Retargeted onto the base human's rig (its asset.json skeleton) by the same code as its own clips: the dances, the drunk's idle, walk and drink and the cheer from CMU captures (the loops cut on a repeating phrase and played in place; the Macarena's quarter turn taken out), the toast, the smash, leaning on a rail and talking seated from Quaternius's Universal Animation Library 1 and 2. The crush (the overhead punch down) is GameMog's own, keyed by hand on the same rig: a few key poses, each limb solved by two-bone IK, from the CMU fight guard and back to it.

Mountain massif
A snow-capped mountain massif about 4.5 km across, rising from a flat plain at its edges to a summit near the middle (east and south of the centre) about 2 km up: sharp rocky ridges run west and south from the summit with cliffs on their flanks, a broad snow bowl opens to the north below them, and eroded spurs and gullies fall away all round. Its colour is a snow cover with bare grey rock on the steep faces, for far mountains round a valley. 1024 x 1024 heights (16-bit) over 5000 m a side, 1.3 to 1988.1 m, with its colour at 1024 px.
Heights read from the EXR's R channel as ZIP-compressed 32-bit floats, averaged 2 x 2 to 1024 x 1024, stored deflated as little-endian 16-bit samples.

Bodies, skins, hair, eyebrows, eyelashes and eyes: the MakeHuman project, released under CC0. Motion: the CMU Graphics Lab Motion Capture Database (mocap.cs.cmu.edu), created with funding from NSF EIA-0196217; the run is subject 9, trial 1, the standing start subject 104, trial 53, and the idle and fall subject 90, trial 16. The sprint is our own amplification of the captured run. Sky: Joburg Central Sunset by Dimitrios Savva and Greg Zaal, Poly Haven, CC0. None of these require credit; we give it anyway.
The raw data is not sold or offered for download as a product. It is converted into these assets, which exist to run inside GameMog games.

The traversal (swinging on a line, running up and along walls, perching, zipping and diving, and the animation that moves the body through it) and the city (its streets and buildings, its night lights, its traffic and the people on its sidewalks) are Shikhar's Spiderbench, used with the author's permission. Thank you, Shikhar. The Miami district is Prasenjit's Ocean Drive; the cyclist's pedalling follows Prasenjit's Summer Cycle and the Great Wall's look and sound Shinobi Duel, also Prasenjit's; Tideline's coast follows Dan Greenheck's Tidewater, and the derby's rules Patrick Hable's demolition-derby, all under the MIT licence.
